So I'm toying with the thought, if we should maybe get a copy of Ghost Stories, because there are expansions available for that, but I'm not sure if they are any good.įor example, we love 7 Wonders Duel but dislike how it's expansions take out a lot from it to replace it with stuff (see: guilds leave, temples are in, or in Agora, you throw out a lot more cards to keep the drawing "shape" the same size and form while adding new politics cards, at the price of removing base game cards. I've been told this game is a reskin of Ghost Stories, which is nearly identical (briefly going through it's rulebook it seems like there 4 characters with ability choice of 1 from 2, instead of 8 characters), but otherwise it does look the same, other than graphics obviously. The thing is, as much as we love it and would like to expand the game further, there is no expansion for this game whatsoever, besides the one promo boss card. It's also a huge success in extended family who are our primary gaming group, otherwise it's the two of us with my soontobe wife.
